My granddog was discovered to have a mass in her heart today. Her Moms are vet folks, so she will spend her remaining few days at home with them and pass quietly with them. She is the closest thing I have to a dog of my own, so 💔. But Buttercup brings me lots of joy and smiles. It’s gonna help. 🥹

We are coping with what is likely to be a very dry summer by putting clay pots in the ground and filling them with water. (Plugged the bottom hole with silicone caulk). The first two fills emptied quickly, but the third has not emptied all the way yet. Soil is evenly moist 24” out. Lots less water!
New tomato bed this year. All heirloom with companion plants (nasturtiums, basil, and marigolds). New experiment using ollas in the ground for watering. So far they are working quite well. We have a rainwater system that stores 600 gals. Trying not to use tap water. #zone8gardening #climatechange

I have nothing against e-bikes, or bikes in general. My husband has one. But where I live, teens ride them on greenways and sidewalks. They ride them on busy streets with no helmets. Some of the bikes clock at 30 miles an hour. People have been hurt and even killed. There needs to be a (1/2)
