Tech geek by trade, actor (and occasional producer) by hobby and enjoyment. Nice to meet you! Let's get creative, and have fun! (pfp and banner: @caytlin.tamberlanecomic.com)
End of the 3rd quarter! Vixen up 42-7 over the Passion! 15 minutes away from Minnesota's first pro football championship since the 1969 Vikings won the final NFL Championship Game. #GoVixen #FearTheFox
I still get the urges to go on long nature hikes. It's just so much fun to explore! (Many thanks to @crazyfoxlady.bsky.social for this awesome pic!)
It's that time of year again! And, like last year, the lighting is terrible. (Plus, it's been raining off and on all day. Bleh!) Also, getting the hang of a new (to me) camera, so definitely not my best work. Still, managed to snap a few not-awful pics. No touch-ups other than cropping.
WOOT! A very Happy Birthday to you! 🎈🎂🥳🎁🎉 I hope you're having a most enjoyable one!
Knew I was doing a lot of Techrot Hell-Scrub, but didn't think I did so much that my survival loadout was top for the year. 😅 Except Ocucor? My top secondary? I guess from when I worked on it earlier in the year, and because what I usually carry (Epitaph) is more for status priming? 🤷♂️ #Warframe2025
One thing I'm fuzzy on is what the difference is between "Visited Here" and "Stayed Here". So, this may be a bit conservative. (Source: tenpages.github.io/us-level/us....)
Cool! Here's mine! (And don't let the MR fool you; I consider myself only somewhat competent at this. 😅)
Thank you so much, Kacey. And, yeah, that was one @caytlin.tamberlanecomic.com did a while back based off of this old photo. She did a really wonderful job with it. 💖
Max Kingsley 7/1/2007 - 12/10/2025 He loved and lived to the maximum.
And to everyone out there, I (apparently) hope you have an enjoyable Happy Birthday soon. 🎂😅
The other is from her recent flannel-themed quick commissions. I love how comfy flannel is, and Minnie loves me in flannel, so I absolutely could not resist. 💖 Both of these came out so wonderfully! (Thank you again, Rii!)
Have to share a couple of cute, fun pics that I've been able to pick up from @crazyfoxlady.bsky.social. (If you have the chance to commission her, DO IT! Amazing talent, and such a kind person.) First one's from Halloween, of me in the Zorua onesie I often wear in Pokemon GO, and my buddy, Johannes.
With all that's going on, neglected to share that we have a new family member. Meet Sylvie! Long story short: Minnie's Mom picked her up for Mother's Day, but it didn't work out, so she was supposed to go back to the rescue, but she charmed the heck out of us, so we took her instead. 💖
Despite it all, he still loves his catnip treats (cut into small no-chewing-needed pieces), still loves cuddles and playing, and still demands shoulder carries. Pardon my expression; there were onion ninja nearby.
Biopsy confirmed what the x-rays showed, what the vet's suspected since he had to have emergency surgery a couple months ago when the last of his upper teeth suddenly pivoted inward: Max has cancer in his upper jaw. And it looks aggressive. Weeks, if not days, before the pain gets too much for him.💔
Adopted Max from the shelter when he was 3. Turned 18 back in July. Severe arthritis in his hips and lower back, thyroid issues, diabetic, missing all but one tooth, some health scares recently . . . and still my shoulder-buddy.
Eeyup. But considering it's being done by a bunch of NFT grifters, it's almost to be expected.
These were also decent-ish, and show the prop blur I was going for.
Final day of the airshow. Lighting was bad again today, but decided to try to get a few more shots, this time with the aperture cranked (around f/20) and the shutter slowed (about 1/250) to try to get some prop blur. Made the shots noisier, but I did get a few decent shots. This one's my fave.
More near-the-air-show pics. Lighting's a bit better today. Also remembered to take CR2's and not just JPG's, which is why these are lower res, but better color depth. Forgot to turn down shutter speed and up aperture (thus the P-38 still looking like its propellers are still). Maybe more tomorrow.
The air show is back in town. The skies are heavily overcast, and the light is awful, but I did manage to grab a few shots of the Lightnings flying together during lunch.
Folks who want to check out Soulframe: In order to make up for the mess that was last Friday's stream, they will simply email you an invite if you set up a Soulframe account on their web site and link it to your Twitch account by Tuesday at 3PM Eastern / noon Pacific, no stream-watching required!
Here's to hoping maybe one day the real world can be so compassionate that being trans is so accepted and respected that one can live their authentic life with joy, not fear. It seems like a hope that's a lot harder to hold onto of late, but it's certainly one worth fighting for.
Trisha's just out there living her life being her authentic self, and doing quite well in doing so, thank you very much!
