Somehow lived in Twin Cities for 7 years and a couple weeks ago was only my first time going to Minnehaha Falls. Anyway, they look pretty cool, not gonna lie.
Very happy to have not one but TWO books in the semifinals for the Small Spec Book Awards 2026 @specawards.bsky.social in Horror for the following 2025 titles: JK-LOL (Mad Axe Media) The Big One (@tonyanuci.bsky.social) Extremely proud of both books and thrilled to be included!
All set up at the Book Fair for Grown-ups in Grandstand of MN State Fairgrounds. VIP hour 11am to 12pm. Then open until 7pm. Come through and buy some horror!
Not in Colorado, this deer here is from here (MN) and I got a pic while on a recent hike.
Why does this ad for “faith-based debt help” seem particularly ominous? (Nevermind the shit AI…)
#ShudderWhateverNightMovie THIS IS NOT A TEST. An enjoyable Breakfast Club vs Zombies ensemble film. Some of the performances are much better than others in this one.
Clown Therapy at #CreepawayCamp. With or without doing a drug, it’s very funny. From Chris Panatier & @rebelsam94.bsky.social.
The Horror with Heart panel at #creepawaycamp was visited by some witch’s familiar yesterday.
The “definitely not cursed” Labyrinth at #CreepawayCamp with an “exceptionally cursed” image of horror author extraordinaire @rachelharrison.bsky.social traversing said labyrinth (sorry, Rachel!).
#pbarb2026books THE OCTOBER FILM HAUNT by @michaelwehunt.bsky.social. Like the best of Wehunt’s short fiction, this starts out unsettling in one way and ends unsettling you in a whole different and enriched way. Of course, I will forever and always be a sucker for a good cursed media tale.
Twin Cities (and surrounding areas) folks: mark your calendars for October now! The Bloodcurdling Book Bash is coming… Date: October 17th, 2026 Place: 7800 Normandale Blvd, Minneapolis, MN 55439 Event time: 11am - 6pm I’ll be there. Will you?
Writer friends: Can't say what it's for yet....BUT....I am happy to share that after my first submission/rejection via the platform in 2013, I have FINALLY received an acceptance via Submittable. #nevergiveup
Saw some video about all the pandemic puppies turning 6 years old and have found myself well and truly in my feels. Anyway here’s Juniper in 2020 and now. Still the bestest girl.
#BuyMyBooks TURN from @alienbuddhapress.bsky.social. With a @carsonwinter.bsky.social of the @deadlanguagespod.bsky.social blurb and a cover by the multi-talented @jvgachs.bsky.social. Vampires + pro wrestling. Nuff said!

#StokerCon2026 Last and most certainly not least…the SWAG pile. So. Many. Books.
#StokerCon2026 cocktail reception! With fellow board member @lisakroger.bsky.social, fellow short non-fic nominee @momoshaty.bsky.social, & another w/ @tanyapell.bsky.social holding my drink because the silly traditions are the best.
#StokerCon2026 Saturday: Did my reading from a soonish-to-be published short story about time madness and self-cannibalism. Along with fantastic readings by Taylor Grothe & Vaughn A. Jackson
#StokerCon2026 after the HWA General Meeting panel. What a delightful group of Halloween people! Proud to serve as Treasurer of the HWA, especially when I get to do it with awesome folks like these.
#StokerCon2026 photos continue: spotted THE @ivygrimes.bsky.social a fantastic writer and an absolutely delightful person.
#StokerCon photos. First: readings from @eerieyore.bsky.social, @scribeofhades.bsky.social, and the Mad Libertine himself Jeff C. Carter. Alt text: the 3 authors. Reading
Got a NICE spot for the Mass Author Signing at StokerCon. Come to 69-B if you want to fight…I mean, buy a book!
