Every time i walk by this majestic old white pine on our property i wish the lumber barons would have left us more of the St Croix pinery . All cut in 65 years 1850 to 1915.
Sometimes in the evening it’s just best to sit at the base of a tree and listen to what it says. ( a huge white pine on my property)
It takes me about two weeks to boil it all down because I use kettles over a wood fire, it’s a great place to have coffee on a spring morning!
