That’s the best thing since the fuel strikes in the UK when they sent reporter Phil McCann to a petrol station…
Read this this morning in a history of Leith Central Station. Maybe we need to get back to this and cause more “melées”!
If you’re wondering where Darth Vader leaves the Death Star when he’s not using it…
May I suggest the foot of Leith Walk near Edinburgh? Hardly any crawl time at all (and top quality books and cakes)
Currently eating a duck salad in the sunshine in a pavement cafe in Bucharest. Life is good 😎
In a time of almost unremitting grimness, this has brought me so much excitement and joy.
Who’s your favorite reccurring (that is not part of the regular cast but kept showing up) sitcom character?
Driving through Edinburgh with the roof down. Nice! Caught in the annual taxi parade (all the black cabs covered in balloons taking kids to the seaside). Cool! All the drivers had supersoakers and spray washers and were delighted to see a convertible…. SOAKED (repeatedly)
I love that the theatre where I work sometimes has ACTUAL FROGS at stage door
4am at the airport. First breakfast in Edinburgh, second breakfast in Reykjavik 🇮🇸
Before bed last night, baked a nice sourdough loaf for breakfast. Happy Sunday!
Managed to get a couple of pics while I was there today. Bring back memories?
Coming out of a nasty cold and my body is crying out for some healthy soup. Nothing smells quite like a lovely sofrito starting to cook!
This is my all time favourite. It’s a cafe behind a well known budget supermarket in Airdrie
Had my first try at sourdough this week. It’s kind of worked! Not bad for my first try
Hello! Are you feeling any better today? Here is another fun post just in case
