My brother and I did a hike on the Washington Secondary bike path in May We started in Coventry south of the Nathaniel Greene homestead, went north 6 miles to the restaurant of my 60s childhood Wien-O-Rama. The 2 All the way Coffee milk and clam cake style batter onion rings are amazing

Had a good hike at Black Hut Management Area in RI Saturday. The main animal spotting theme was amphibians It's bullfrog breeding season so they were noisy and more visible than usual all day Saw some green frogs but they dove deep fast so no pictures
I saw his memorial at Colt SP recently, a lovely spot I'm sure he'd be pleased
Well I got the luck I hoped for when @rosemarymosco.com and @poorlydrawnlines.bsky.social both posted snake comics. At the Ell Pond National Natural Landmark plaque. Hiking up I thought "I don't remember a black root coming out of the rocks". My first snake of the year was a beauty.
When I grabbed yesterday's stack of local grocery store flyers from the mail the outer wrapper made me wonder is tobacco advertising is back? I guess the answer is yes ☹️
