My brother was asking ChatGPT for cyberpunk media recommendations, and he had this happen:

ChatGPT suggested a FitD game called Glow in the Dark, which it surprisingly attributed to you. That looked sus to me, since I don't remember you ever mentioning it, so I asked about it and this is what it said:

Great question — and you absolutely caught an error on my part.

I mistakenly attributed Glow in the Dark to Paul Stefko, which is incorrect. The actual creator is Adam Schwaninger.

That mix-up likely came from overlapping knowledge about Forged in the Dark content creators: Paul Stefko is a well-known TTRPG designer who has worked on various games and may have contributed to similar genre material — but he had nothing to do with Glow in the Dark. That was 100% Adam Schwaninger’s work.

Thanks for calling that out. I aim for precision, especially in indie TTRPGs where creators deserve clear credit.

6/? @theothertracy.bsky.social gave me a shot to make a PbtA version of their Norse epic fantasy with bone mecha game. I think it turned out pretty well, but it got lost in the sea of early PbtA works. I was very surprised to learn of folks playing it years later in a podcast interview.

5/? One of my more recent acquisitions, BREAK!! is a fantasy game inspired by anime and JRPGs. It is also one of the most effortlessly usable game rulebooks I’ve ever read. Extensive cross-references, section and subsection callouts in the margins, and a fine index.
