Seminar mini-world tour concludes! After Kobe (Japan Society for Atmospheric Chemistry annual meeting) and Tsukuba (National Institute for Environmental Science), a trip to Seoul to visit my #IO3C colleague Prof Ja Ho Koo. Thanks to him and his group for a great day (Korean BBQ trip not shown).
After a restful weekend mooching about the front range of the Rockies, another mountain(of tech difficulties) emerged at the start of the #TOAR2 CLA meeting - which we’ve now “summitted”. The very patient James Keeble now presenting on our ROSTEES WG.
Quadrennial Ozone Symposium this week. Today is the tropospheric chemistry session. Many excellent talks: for me the recent work of Amir Souri was a real highlight and I always enjoy a chance to hear Michael Prather and his views on ozone chemistry.
A great week at the Schmidt Sciences Cross-VESRI/ICCS Summer School. Some really useful sessions on the intersection of ML/AI and new computational methods.
Looking forward to an interesting and, maybe, not yet obsolete workshop on Next Generation Environmental Modeling hosted by NERC. Peter Dueben of ECMWF opens proceedings to speak on the Quiet, Digital and ML revolutions in forecasting.

Final talk from Cory Zigler - bringing spatial data into causal inference, and also introducing weather2vec! Both are exciting tools to better understand air quality.
