British film noir from 1956. Solid if stiff with shades of 12 Angry Men. Director Terence Fisher is better known for horror films. Endless smoking and a bottles of beer while the jury deliberate is quite funny. A daft ending lets it down. #NowWatching #filmnoir @indicator.bsky.social

Tonight's Noirvember is Out of the Past (1947). Starring Robert Mitchum and Jane Greer. If there was ever a face and countenance that was perfectly suited for Film Noir, it's Mitchum's. #noirvember #filmnoir #NowWatching
Thoughts on Superman. Christopher Reeves' tenure will endure forever. With this film I reckon David Corenswet, will probably bury the Cavill years. The core is familiar but in essence it's a full on reboot & quite a weird one at times. If you want it to be, it's also highly political. Recommended
