Another Republican era series, #SilentTide On a roll. Want to become familiar with #RenjiaLun's work. Series set in Macau right after Pearl Harbor bombing. #cdrama
#DoctorontheEdge. Disengaged at first as was finishing two other intense series. #Ljw's character's reactions are apparently to be seen as funny, but he's been traumatized! Pluses: doctor's growth, chemistry, & support cast's arcs. #LJW --good acting. Kind of sweet series. Writing lacking, though.

The third era of #FootprintsofChange is set in the 1990's, a period of struggling entrepreneurship, of personal computers, cell phones, and blue jeans. The networking vibe is much different from the other two, of course. Worth it for me. Enjoyed the structure, pacing, casting, & historical detail
Obviously well-known actors in #Footprintsofchange 1st arc, but not in other two.Last arc set in 1990s era of Reform and rise of private business and entrepreneurship. Three periods of people's trying to survive, the best they can, without judgment. Won't interest some viewers. Love it
Will be watching more #ChengLei work before moving on. Enjoying #FootprintsofChange. First third in Republican Era of triptich is stylish. Middle is set in Liberation Era w aura of that period. Finding fascinating historically. Not huge actors, but so well done.
This is a 2025 film. Great visually. Each era is set off, but still connects. Like I wrote, this must have been a very good novel. #ChengLei is just a dream in this role.
The chemistry between #ChengLei and the Lady Gynecologist in #FootprintsofChange #cdrama is palpable, just satisfying to watch. Makes me smile. Plot flows along nicely Subplots developing that expand on main plot Plus, this series is simply pretty to watch, with some bloodletting by gangs

Really interesting clothing and hair styles in this Republican era. Cars, music! Some gang involvement. That's no "bungalo," though, as stated. It's quite a house...She's an obstetrician; he's a gang's lawyer. Interesting.

COSTUME BANQUET Don't have express for ##TheFirstJasmine, although have Viki Pass Plus. At Viki's mercy, as episodes dribble out. Beautiful series. Watching #ASplendidMatch. On episode 31/40. Main leads' love story/chemistry ❤️. Many fascinating support characters developed. SO enjoyable!
#ZhuZhu is so hot! I love this image of her with her husband, though. I own a copy of #TheEpochofMiyu. Had to have it, especially because I stan #WallaceChung.
