#StayReadyCrew Always remember how easy it is to stretch a dish with a can of beans! My favorite Caprese salad is still every bit as delicious with some added white beans! I also added some chopped cucumber to stretch it even further. Now it’s a hearty, whole meal salad.

Sunday #Sourdough I bought yet another GF sourdough baking book. The author used a different process than I am used to, and I am in love with the results. This #GlutenFree Rosemary Buckwheat loaf has a very tender crust and a wonderful depth of flavor.

Did anyone else grow up calling these flags? My grandmother had them in her garden, and I remember being absolutely in love with the patterns of the colors in the petals ( the lines and different shades in them.) I used to doodle them constantly. They still make me think of my Gram.

I’m experimenting again! I’ve been wanting a soft oat flour-forward GF yeasted loaf that I could throw together quickly for times that my stomach isn’t feeling great. I also didn’t want too high of a starch content. Did my usual of marrying bits from different recipes. #BreadSky #Baking #Celiac

#GlutenFree #Sourdough loaf of the week. Back to my pumpernickel experiments, and this is, by far, my favorite set of tweaks. It’s everything I wanted! I might still experiment by adding some buckwheat flour to this, because I love to play with my flour stash. #BreadSky #Baking #Celiac

A deeply rich brown loaf of bread on a cooling rack. There are small tiny bubbles under the crust, testifying to it being perfectly thin and crackly. It’s a sign of nicely fermented GF artisan bread.
