I'd love to present this again if there are more PowerPoint parties I'm invited to! This is 10 minutes and still needs a bit of work, but might take over the slot currently covered by "MarioKart characters as breakfast cereals" I've done before.

If I get invited to a PowerPoint party I AM going to spend 3 hours preparing the slides and making a whole in-universe B-plot inside this.

Now I've been pitching game sessions as one-off workshops with Dutch art collectives, organizations, or anti-squats, and that's going well! I had my first art workshop, a "seasonal craft event" where I was able to transform my culinary TTRPG into a game about midsummer feasting rituals.

At the start of 2026, I volunteered on a houseboat floating in Rotterdam to get a sense if I could make a community and living here. It was a hippie houseboat stuffed with Buddhas, passionfruit, a tiny barking dog, and a sense of optimism in my future. I like Rotterdam a lot. I live here now! 7/x

I lived in a rural Finnish tuberculosis sanitarium arguing for TTRPG design in an art residency, made a site-specific board game in a 1903 German hotel, backpacked to Istanbul to research where could feel like home, lived in a 1300s French millhouse, made numerous crushes, and felt fantastic. 5/x

Since I stopped posting on Twt/Bluesky I moved to Aotearoa for 14 months, rebuilt my purpose and connections there, worked at a meat factory, then a dumpling factory, then experienced some stuff I'm saving for the memoir, skydived on Christmas Eve, and had this as my breakfast that morning. 3/x

Within a 15 minute errand I had biked everywhere I needed to be, met 3 lovely staff, got 20 pierogis, gifted 20 to some rock-climbers, and was back in my flat grilling them up with carrots and butter. When people talk about #urbanism #walkablecities #commmunitybuilding , this is it! Thnx y'all

Landed in Ōtautahi yesterday and today I'm in their brilliant library getting my library card and doing some local reading! Great book from @byroncclark.bsky.social . This is one of the best libraries I've ever been in, and I'm not just saying that as the biased child of a librarian.

I also shot photographs for them, my first Guardian photography assignment but one I'm very excited to share.
