I like to keep a small stock of bottle conditioned or live ales in reserve at home ... apart from the Fuller's 1845's, Shep's 1698's, and wide variety of classic Belgian brews this light 4.5 percenter is one of the most delicious ales you can find on a supermarket shelf.
This old boy is probably over 60, I've known him since about 1968. Last year he was quite lethargic, turned out to be pneumonia.

Would have been my Dad's 100th birthday this week. Went over to Normandy to start rousting the Nazis in 1944 and had his ankle blown through at the battle of Mont Pincon. My Dad fought Nazis. Proud. (Slowly giving up doing this stuff on Fakebook, putting it here instead)

We still miss our grumpy old sod, been gone over 2 years now. On the plus side the kitchen is draft free now the catflap is sealed up.
