Much as this week has been mediocre at best overall, this Archer has parked this hole 3 days in a row, and that feels pretty good at least. #discgolf
I don’t always play this hole perfectly, but when I do, it’s with the Archer. #discgolf
Got rained out of Owen’s Field (second failed attempt playing); ended up at a little elementary school course that was actually decent. Light rain made everything hard to grip and fly stable, but we had fun. #discgolf
After 22 years since first played, I think I stand by this one as my personal fav #minigolf course. #miniaturegolf #minotaurgoff
First time playing Splinter City! Fun course. Some garbage luck but scored good side of average overall. Great to be out w/ family. #discgolf
Another great playtest. Needs some polish, but still works well! #boardgames #gamedesign
Having some vacation. Little #discgolf, little #boardgames, mostly just hanging out.
Boy do I ever not understand this game yet, but I am doing my best. #boardgames #expeditionsboardgame
Multiplayer playtest! A few rules need refined/clarified and probably some numbers need tweaking. It’s complex, and will be a long play. Will be testing more soon. But _GUYS_ - after 2ish years, this game is FINALLY almost *everything* I wanted. I honestly LOVE it. #boardgames #gamedesign
Really been digging this combo last few months. Bought the Copperhead originally to use as a high/mid gain crunch - and while it can do that, I’ve recently started using it as a low gain foundation into the Quilter. Great sound & feel. Takes a push from other drives well too (Ages, most recently).
Well, game definitely “works”. I even think it’s pretty fun - but of course I made it and the theme is a fav. Setup and maintenance are “not terrible”. Footprint is larger than I realized. #boardgames #gamedesign #playtesting
Prototyping == print stuff & cut it out. #tiredfingers #boardgames #gamedesign
My dude. My man. My person. I don't know how to tell you this, but I have posted literally nothing on art style for this project. Bot suspicion here is.... pretty high.
Some early prototyping. Definitely works, but it’s…. Involved. Some decisions on what might be best to cut out without losing the feel. #boardgamedesign
Out at Sugar Hollow with the boy. Got a lot of spite from the course but we had fun. 👍 #discgolf
Today’s round was pretty good - minimal spite. Some poor throws but most were playable. Some great scrambles. A lot of “decent”/“serviceable” shots. Almost deserve the score. #discgolf
Ok this was a scramble for bogey, but it’s so good I’m posting it. Blind throw up a hill from about 130’. #discgolf
Threw & scored a bit better today. Some bad throws & conversion failure. Mixed luck. About normal/average/typical for me on this course. #discgolf
Another bad round today - worst in a while. Threw meh, lot of bad breaks. Trouble w/ consistency. The usual. Ah well. Part of the game. #discgolf
One does not simply play the Deer without at least a couple of fiasco holes. Played solid-for-me today overall. Feel like I earned the score - had some bad breaks toward the end, but one or two good ones as well. A hot one today. #discgolf
So this shirt from themittenstate.com is cool, but imo the design would be so much better without the white rectangle and "edmund fitzgerald" text. Just the boat and the lyric would be 100% more elegant. Why do so many designs over-complicate & over-explain themselves? Let the core idea speak.
