Got a little lazy with the details and the shading, but pretty happy with how it turned out! (That sword is a little small, but I'm not going to fix it now.)

The layout of a DD booth has been practically the same for at least 4 years (2 panels, a banner, a 1-minute video, and an avatar demo station). Why not make the process easier for applicants and staff alike with a booth kit so folks can prepare materials in advance? I know I'd appreciate it!

Instead of adding more booths every year, why not aim for a middle ground? Somna's DD was near-perfect. Booths were visible from anywhere in the pavilion, well spaced, and manageable. Ultra felt very easy to miss booths because of its layout.

Realized I never shared my multiple outfits here. Left: The Space Critter for Ultra Middle: The Game Critter for Ultra Right: The Boss Critter for Ultra The outfit on the right is one I made for myself and couldn't really offer to others, as it needed edits to the base mesh to work. Still fun!

For all of its ups and downs, I think I had a good time. Hopefully next year will be better. ✨

Spent a good chunk of time with @arcticasper.bsky.social, and dressed up some of their avatars for the con as well! I never thought I'd find myself as an otter, mouse, or bunny (not pictured, as it didn't have an Ultra outfit), but they managed to convince me!

Got to see @macchiatolemeow.bsky.social in the Dealer's Den, along with @ericbazinga.bsky.social who did a great job refitting the Space Critter outfit to their avali! Met up with @kaimutt.bsky.social, a good bean I met at Umbra, and snapped a pic with good friend @mintyramennoodle.bsky.social!

That'll definitely help one of the bits I wasn't considering an issue, but it's more that the shoe tread has a pattern on it that isn't being exported (bottom-right). The gradient issue is also visible here.

What I've been using is individual layers with the gradient scales bunched into a folder, with the actual gradient filter applied to the folder. I'm pretty sure it's just ignoring the filter on the folder.

Just about done setting everything up! I should have a proper update this weekend. :3 In the meantime, here's a little peek!

Ok, what do we think of this? Kinda busy, but not too much of any color in one place.

Stopping point for the night. Figured I would break the Hateno Village tradition of dyeing clothes all the same color and give some contrast to a few bits. I've finished all but Player 4; I'm still thinking of a design for the jacket. But that should be solved soon!

Player 1 texture done! I think I'm going to go with a different design for each player. The shorts will remain the same pattern-wise, but the jacket's due for some variation. There's a LOT of the main color here.

In lighter news, I learned how to make the buckle look more like a buckle! Really happy with how it turned out. ❤️
