inside w/in 8 days. I swear Binx (pic 1) sent him to us. He has a soul patch, so I named him Dizzy (pic 2), & he's a darling, sweet, smart as a whip boy. Aaand, the pumpkin cake is in the oven, while the 4 bags of puree are now in the freezer. Not a bad thing to be engaged in while it looks like this outside. Behold: frosted squirrel
10 cups of puree, 2 cups per baggie. It was the 4th of the pumpkins we grew in our garden. I cut it up, roasted it, then scooped up the flesh and pureed it in the new Ninja food processor Brad gave me for Christmas. 1 bag will get used later to make a cake, and the rest will be put in the freezer.👀
I made a pot pie from leftovers: pie crust, filling of leftover turkey, peas, green beans, corn, mashed potatoes, and gravy, with crescent roll dough for the topping. Total experiment, but I'm a fan! OMNOMNOMNOM

Christmas dinner turned out delicious! Rib eyes from the quarter beef we got in November, scallops, baby potatoes, and corn that we dehydrated for storage and rehydrated for the meal. A little corn is all that's left. The rest is IN OUR BELLEHS. 😋 OMNOMNOM
