Bought this LP fall of 1995 living in the UGA dorms. No record player to play it. It’s been stuck in boxes moving for 30 years. Finally have a record player setup and found it. Giving it a spin this afternoon.
Those 'athletics fees' are a lot for students and their families. And I know its not just KSU. Here is my UGA student's fees and $73 isn't nothing. But putting the building of an athletics dept on the backs of regular students is an issue for me.
My kid has liked Kennesaw State a lot but one thing I've heard since before they started there was the administration was very focused on becoming a D1 sports contender. Problem is they don't really generate anything like UGA or Tech in the $$ sports. So guess who gets to chip in to get them there?
Jimmy Carter was never fully accepted by the national party elites even from the time he won the primaries in the 70s. That said he saw these issues around Israel and Palestine very clearly and we would be in a much better spot had he been listened to.
