285) GI Joe Cobra B.A.T. I'm not a huge Joe collector, and about 90% of the Classified figures I have are characters I had as a kid (see 98 on this list). The idea of the BATs always fit beautifully into my preferred "sci-fi Joe" aesthetic, and this guy's just a beautiful upgrade of the original.

284) McFarlane Warhammer 40,000 Primaris Hellblaster. Had to get this "artist's proof" figure. The plan is to someday paint him up as one of my beloved Relictors. He's a bit clunky, technically 7" scale (sort of) but really he's a fairly solid 6" scale Space Marine, and he's fantastic as that.

One thing I always love about customizing models and toys is how changing just one thing can give a figure a very different vibe. A friend of mine once pointed out (on a fantasy-monster movie) that it's almost always a little creepier when the monster wears clothes. Immediately implies intelligence.

283) ML SC&tLot10R Xu Shang-Chi. Didn't expect to love this movie as much as I did, and this Shang-Chi figure is equally fantastic. Looks great and falls in that perfect sweet spot of articulation and joint strength where it's very easy to balance him. Now if Hasbro just made his "bus boy" outfit...

282) ML SC&tLot10R Xu Wenwu. The Shang-Chi movie was delayed by the pandemic. The toys were not. By the time I saw the movie, the figures were long gone and I had to search eBay. Wenwu's one of my favorite MCU antagonists, and it's a great figure, even if his signature rings are a bit lacking here.

281) Transformers Bumblebee movie Soundwave. When this guy appeared on screen, and in such a classic look... wow! His alt mode is kind of crap (a sci-fi "vehicle" that looks like, well, Soundwave doing yoga) but he's spectacular as an action figure. Just amazing detail and articulation.

280) ML MoM Rintrah. The first (and only) time I completed a build-a-figure by buying the whole wave. I knew of Rintrah through the comics and liked the idea of Strange having a non-human apprentice. This figure's just fantastic--big, posable, and balances SO easily considering he has hooves.

279) Marvel Legends Sleepwalker. Anytime somebody tries to tell you that a character is too obscure, that it doesn't have the fanbase to support a figure release, remind them that SLEEPWALKER got an action figure. And it's a pretty damned nice one, too. Look at him! Now give me Firefall, Hasbro!

So, Donatello. His purple's faded a bit closer to blue. He was so covered with dirt I didn't realize his shell was gone. Looking at this, though, I'm wondering if this might've been a later, gimmick-Turtle who had shell storage or something? Was there such a thing? I'm not that Turtle-knowledgeable.

A classic Donatello Ninja Turtle figure lies on a sheet of white paper. His purple mask and pads are a bit closer to blue after years in the ground.

Donatello, now face down. His "turtle shell" is missing so you can see inside the figure's torso, getting a good look at the simple joints for his hips and shoulders. The right side of the torso has what looks like a partial joint or connection point.

278) ML MoM America Chavez. Well, this worked out well. Shamefully, I'm not as familiar with the comic book version of America, but really liked her in Multiverse of Madness. This is also a fantastic figure- perfectly scaled, looks great, all she needs is a big "star" energy/gateway effects piece.

277) ML MoM Wong. Or to be more precise, Sorcerer Supreme Wong, one of my favorite MCU tweaks. Honestly,I love that they made him Sorcerer Supreme and are actually treating him as such with all his random cameos. Plus he's a fantastic figure and a nice pop of color on the magic/supernatural shelf.

275 + 276) ML MoM Doctor Strange and Astral Doctor Strange. As mentioned earlier, I absolutely, 100% loved the first Doctor Strange movie. Still one of my favorites. And so this became the first (and still only) time I bought an entire Legends wave. Don't love 'em all, but these two are fantastic.

Two action figures stand on a wooden desk. Well, one stands, one floats. It's Doctor Strange in his blue robes and red cloak, while behind him a translucent, light blue version of the same figure floats up into the air on a carefully hidden stand.

Close on Doctor Strange. The face is a fairly solid likeness of Benedict Cumberbatch. There's lots of detail on his robes and belt, and the Amulet of Aggamatto

Close on the translucent, ghostly version of Doctor Strange rising up out of the "physical" version (which has a bowed head as if its gone unconscious). A bit of clever lighting gives the lower half of the astral figure a noticable glow.

275) ML Nimrod. Not that focused on X-Men, but after the previous version of Nimrod (62 on this list) this *much* more comics accurate one was tempting. He was in a three pack, but someone on eBay was selling him for a very low price and... look at him! Look at this glorious mass of future-Sentinel!

274) ML The Shocker. He's such an adorably dedicated B-list villain (even in the MCU). You could make a whole Avengers team out of people who've beaten the Shocker. I had (still have) the clunky ToyBiz version, and got this one mostly as a completionist, but he's actually a solid, fantastic figure.

In factz it kind of looks like it's made from quilted furniture pads, except for the large metal gauntlets. There are crackling yellow effects pieces surrounding each hand.

The Shocker figure in the same pose, a little closer, but I've tried to do some lighting effects to make his crackles look brighter. Results are mixed at best.

273) Transformers Bumblebee Movie Shockwave. TWO action figures? In the same store? At the same time? Unpossible! Yet there he was with Ravage. His sci-fi tank alt mode is kind of ehhhhhhh, but as a robot he looks just fantastic, is very posable, and (most importantly) can even strike *that* pose.

A purple and gray robot stands on a wooden desk. Shockwave has a single, large yellow eye centered in his squat, hexagonal head, and one of his hands has been replaced with a large cannon. He's relatively inhuman-looking for a Transformer. But still lovable.

The Shockwave figure, now posed as if it's walking to the side. It has a slow, heavy, powerful stride, and its head is turned slightly to look at camera. It could almost be a comic book cover.
