Definitely my 2nd favourite moment of the season! My 1st favourite followed a few minutes later: “After review…” 😃🔴⚪️💪🏼
Ah, Sheffield Wednesday fan 😃 Do you know the link between your club and our pre-match TiFo on Tuesday night?? Hint: “…and Leicester!” 😃😃😃
From 8+ years ago. Gets more relevant every day 👇 (sorry, no idea who drew this)
Don’t get me wrong, I doubt it too… in most cases. And then you get some decisions and…👇🏼
Good one and agreed. IMO criticism of VG, or any player, is justified if/when not performing well. Viktor was invisible vs Liverpool for example. BUT it must be fair and balanced. That’s why @charleswatts.bsky.social and “Inside Arsenal” is my go-to podcast. Don’t always agree but always reasonable
I still think Per’s incredible performance in the 2017 cup final was one of the most outstandingly surprising effort I’ve seen. Not going to lie, I didn’t give us much chance that day and I thought Per’s lack of pace would be a huge weakness Chelsea would exploit. It’s great to be wrong sometimes 😃
Seem to post a version of this every year, but sadly it also seems more applicable every year, for now at least…
I can’t recommend “The Death of Stalin” highly enough for anyone who likes a brilliantly funny yet dark, unsettling movie AND who has little insight into the absurd and insane cruelty of Stalin and the ‘Great Terror’. A must watch!
Yes! 👇🏼😃 Not sure but might have been the only time instead of his usual number 5 I think. So many little details on those commentator match notes 😃😃😃
Ah, the good ol’ Rhinoceros Beetle. Don’t annoy him coz he will hiss at you!! 🤣🤣🤣🇦🇺
It amazes me how few (any?) Americans know their own history and understand who the Puritans were, why they left England not to avoid persecution but to to impose their view of the ‘pure’ faith AND how so little has changed in 400 years(!) because Americans have never really confronted this 😤
Fun fact: Willie’s foul on the teenage Paul Allen, who was clean through on goal in the 1980 FA Cup Final, was one of the key moments that lead to the introduction of a red card for denying an obvious goal-scoring opportunity
Head the ball then the player = penalty! But trip the player then touch the ball = no penalty. Got it 👍🏼🙄😤😤😤
Does anyone else remember another number 14 who couldn’t hit a barn door in his early games for us? He eventually got into a decent run of form for a while. Tranquilo everyone 😉
I’ll just be happy with more of this 👇🏼 Makes me smile even more every time 😃😃🔴⚪️💪🏼
