The obsession some NFL DC's have with 1.5 gapping, no matter the body type of the DLineman, is a head scratcher for me. Here Vic one-ups himself and has Ty Robinson and Jalyx Hunt both 2 gapping. Because why? Neither of them are built for this. Trott almost saves the day.

Jalen opposed his OC's play and made this up in the huddle. It literally states in the post that Barkley has historically been poor aligned wide and some of low sample sizes are greatly affected by screen passes. Should we blame World Peace on Hurts also? Global Warming? Thos pesky Mosquitos?

Hoping to see Mundt on this slice block. Maybe Goedert and Lemon also. Hurts has had success on these zone slice runs for years. This is made to look more like GB's typical Duo run. But same deal with a slicing Yoff in the back field acting as lead blocker outside.

GB didn't get Willis involved in QB run a ton. But when they did, it was simple tried and true read option stuff that Hurts has been good at and also carries a low injury risk. This looks like Read Option made to look like their usual Duo runs. If they do this wStowers at TE, we storm the Complex😀

I never feel complete about the draft until I look back at all of the rounds and do an honest assessment of what players I'd have likely ended up with. Here it is for posterity. On to other projects. Go Birds!

This is against FCS level competition. But Pulley has some nice examples of playing top-down coverage over the #2 WR similar to how he would in Vic's quarters. Seems like he might be an at least solid coverage safety. Would love to see more examples of him in man coverage from the slot.

I am early into tape watching on Keyshawn James-Newby. The Michigan run blockers aren't juggernauts. But it's safe to say that the way Newby defends the run, he has a better chance of making the roster than last year's late round edge rusher. He's on the right of screen. #FlyEaglesFly

Hollywood would not make roster if I am GM unless: 1) a top 4 WR or Wilson or Stowers become injured or 2) don't start season with a PR spot and have someone do the Covey shuffle or 3) Can get by on D w/23 or 24 players Calcaterra has no shot to make it for me unless Stowers or Goedert are hurt.

I don't know if he is the right pick yet or not. It would have been him or Boston for me and I would not have traded up. But This is FUN!!

Was trying to compare Kaleb Proctor, DT prospect, to Milton Williams, since they are similar mold players. Milt was a freak. I wonder how many sacks he'd have pyled up if the Eagles/League said, "You don't need to bulk up to 1.5 gap. Just run circles around OLineman and get double digit sacks."

Easily shields Howell off from the play. Otherwise, Bell did have plenty of good snaps in this game that did not directly involve blocking Howell 1 on 1. But he seemed to hold up just fine in a matchup vs a potential round 1 edge.
