Many years ago, for my BIG 4-0, I took a week long trip to California. I spent the last evening of my 39th year watching the sunset over Monterey Bay. This picture was taken 29 years ago today (a few days after my arrival and a few before my birthday). Enjoy! Laugh! Mock! It's all good!
I bought this painting in '97 as my own birthday gift to me! In all those 29 years, it has never been framed because, well, I suck at these kinds of things. Before I left Knoxville, a friend who, before his retirement, did all the art restoration at UT, gifted me a frame. I am just so very grateful.
