Today was Rick Jeanneret's birthday. I try to grant celebrities a normal life and not intrude. But my daughter played with Rick's granddaughter and he came to her games. I wish I sat and talked with him just once.

My yard is well traveled by skunks, opposum and raccoon. Skunks are good neighbors but want under my shed and porch. NOT good. Just move slow and don't let dogs near. Raccoons can wipe out your garden in one rambunctious night

Backyard devoted to pollinators and hummingbirds. Last year was rough, this year worse. One hummingbird visits occasionally and just transient swallowtails. No monarch yet
Jeep going down for repairs, needed a ride. It is said "You don't get too old to ride, you get old when you stop riding". Been thirty years since I gave my 920 to my brother and last rode. Today was a lesson in humility as my gimpy hip was fully challenged. Riding motorcycle is as perishable skill.
