Since my kid is watching The Berenstain Bears TV show, I'm doing a bit of a dive into the history of the franchise and dang if Stan and Jan Berenstain didn't look like "Mad Men" characters in their youth.

Before having kids, I thought the huge snot bubble was some sort of anime/manga stylistic thing and kind of a broad exaggeration of how kids are. Now I know that this depiction of children is 100% based in facts and experience.
