You can call me Piper or Pipermaru. She/Her. I like cats. I have two: Ember is an older tortie and Ash is grey and white. Ember is Ash’s mother. They are bonded and I adopted them when they were 10 and 3.

I had a very long day. Took my mom to have eye surgery (glaucoma). First spot of the day and needed to be there at 5:45 am. Only got home from rehearsal at around 9 pm. At least I got to work from home. Still can’t miss the before bed treats though! Ash loves hunting for them in the papers.

Took this picture earlier today. The pigeons always are hanging out here (I think the owner of a nearby store feeds them), but on really hot days like today, they cluster in this one bit of shade. I just think it’s silly and finally took a picture.

Fireworks are still going off and it’s past midnight. I hope they stop soon, but these ladies don’t seem to mind too much. They hate thunderstorms, maybe this is just better in comparison? I got home kinda late from the con, so I was still up anyway. #CatsofBluesky
