One of our cats developed an obsession with our Keurig. I'm not sure if she wanted to drink the water or make us coffee. Either way, she would take the top off the water reservoir and leave it open. Thankfully she never figured out the buttons and lost interest after a few months.

Can you believe she was a stray? She was so small and cute. Then she grew to be a 20lb mini Siberian tiger. We had no idea she wasn't fully grown! But also that she was eating everyone else's food! She's now dieting and playing, so she's getting down to a healthy weight!

Well there was the time that we had to put our girl (a former stray) in a cat onesie: she licked her stitches after she was spayed and they got infected. She was pretty tolerant of it. I had a total hysterectomy two days after her surgery, so recovery was a nice bonding experience for us.

My little weirdo, Lyra. She's such a sweetheart...most of the time. She doesn't have a care in the world (or a thought in her head).

It's been 3 and a half weeks and I still miss her so much. I don't even know how to cope with this level of grief. I distract myself as much as possible, but it doesn't hide the fact that she's gone. I don't know how people survive the loss of a spouse or child because losing my dog is killing me.

At first, no, but she adjusted fine. And whenever she had to wear the cone so I could wash the onesie, she was more accepting when it went back on.

Mine was so sad when she was put in the cone that she accepted a cat onesie as a reasonable alternative.

Mine don't do that. Except for drinks. They'll leave my decor items alone, but one of them has a personal obsession with pint glasses and especially coffee mugs with coffee in them. She's quite a handful... But she's so damn cute that she gets away with way too much.

I keep a widget on my phone that counts how long it's been since the January 6th riot. It's been 2009 days and I'm still waiting for justice...

I also have a garden kitty! She just showed up and was living in my garden for a few days before we decided she must be homeless. She was so small, and then grew into a huge fluffy sheep. 😂

I had a bottle-fed feral who was too energetic for my other cats. Years later, we adopted a black cat and he immediately bonded with my boy. They were so close for these rest of my boy's life. Now we have that black cat 3 female cats. He doesn't care for any of them, so he hangs out with me.

We took in 3 who were dumped in a park. Found a home for the orange male, but ended up stuck with the 2 females. I'm glad because the one is a ball of chaos. I'd hate to see the destruction if her sister wasn't there to drain some of her energy. She's almost 2 now. I don't think she'll calm down.

No it hasn't. It was added by Eisenhower in 1954. And which God? I'm partial to Kynareth, but it's possible my cat Loki was Talos, so I'm okay with him. Seriously though, our next Democratic president should work on sorting this out so the right-wing Christians stop thinking they have more rights.

Thank you. The worst part was I knew who dumped them because my Ring camera caught them carrying the kittens, but the police said there wasn't anything they could do. This picture was the day I found them. The orange boy went to live with a friend who had just lost a cat. Apparently he's a handful.
