The man in question was my brother-in-law, Jay. This is our families on vacation in ‘24. One of the best men I’ve ever known. Treated his son like gold and sacrificed all he could for him. Treated my own kid like a princess. Woke up fine yesterday and was gone by lunchtime while cleaning the house.

It feels like one of those cool mornings on the lake outside in Pittsburgh right now. 60, cloudy, breezy, lots of moisture in the air. Makes me wanna book a weekend at deep creek soon 😅

Anyways we had a fantastic 5th anniversary dinner at Monterey Bay and it was an absolutely beautiful night, I didn’t get pictures of the sunset but it was stunning
I really like the tuna salad that I make, but that ratio of time and messiness invested to output is way off. Still takes me about an hour from the time I get everything out until the last minute of cleanup is completed, and between my wife and I we each only get about two lunches. Booooo.
Ok, at least we are wrapping the shittiest weather MDW ever with actual picture-perfect temperatures and skies
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are such an amazing collection of talent, love, unity, and energy. It was awesome to be in their presence tonight. I wasn’t sure how many more chances I’d get to see him live and I’m glad I finally did. A tip of the hat to one of the greatest to ever do it!
