While checking out an ancient graveyard with Jenny K. We came across this symbol carved into the back of a church. A protection ward to ward off evil… Just much evil was there in this graveyard?

✨Weekly Writing update✨ It’s been an eclectic 2026 so far with my haiku seasonal poetry collection completed, another adventure of Sammy published, and my Murder Monologues finished. Then the idea hit me - I should finish my historical play, as I haven’t dabbled in true crime yet this year 😂📕
I am delighted to announce my collection of 25 dark monologues - The Murder Monologues has been published! They are a study of monsters hidden in plain sight…. And have been used by several wonderful actors to create some rather memorable, chilling performances. a.co/d/0f8xAy9w #monologues

✨Weekly Writing Update✨ Well, this week multiple new books have been started. Every book I am now writing is a different genre and age group. It’s absolute chaos in my cafe corner!

Do you like haiku? If so may I present ‘Haiku Seasons’ … a collection of haiku from Devon with a haiku for every day of the year. ‘If I put it plainly it feels like Plath wrote a haiku after spending a weekend in Brautigan’s head.’ A.A. Haiku Seasons: amzn.eu/d/a8kXeDM #haiku
I would like to say a big thanks T. for their wonderful review. See below for details! ‘ The Haunting of Blackthorne Farm’ is a play about what happens when 3 amateur paranormal investigators visit an old Devon farm, full of macabre and terrifying secrets. www.amazon.co.uk/Haunting-Bla...
✨Weekly Writing Update✨ This week has been an odd sort of writing week. I’ve been working on my two latest poetry books even though I have novels to finish, but what can you do when your brain is full of haiku? 📑

A super, almost sunny day with Jenny Kane at the potting shed.! Only a few snacks were consumed 😂
A little spot of tea and tiffin in Costa while sending off some horror submissions today. Sometimes you’ve just got to embrace the darkness and murder all your characters.
