First time for everything, and I'm about to try undercoating my Orange/Yellow with Pink for the first time. I'm sure it's gonna work out fine, but I'm still nervous. See y'all after I add the darker pink to her roots, and go over with my oranges and yellows. #MiniaturePaintinf #NSFW

Getting back into the groove of painting with Gaz Mini's Sciurian Girl model again. Not many changes from the last time y'all saw her, but now her hair, and the inside and outside of her ears are painted in Citadel's Fulgrim Pink.
I really love using Fulgrim Pink in general, it almost has a similar "glow" to it under certain lighting conditions like Citadel's Tesseract Glow.

Got her hair and the teeth of her chainsword based in Corax White. Gonna put a thin layer of Bad Moon Yellow down in some high spots, then I'm gonna go over that with Blood Angels Red.

Silent Hill Repentia Superiors.

My Pyrapentia, mostly painted. I was so worried that the colors I grabbed for her dress and head wouldn't work. But they're friggin' perfect.

Silent Repentia Superior, she looks rad as fuck. I tested painting her dress in Flayed Ones Flesh, and it looks really good. I like how just that change was enough to give her a totally different vibe.

Really no big update on this mini besides making her tail poof bright pink, and I love it.

The Grotz' head. I still need to paint in her eyes, and finish painting her eyebrow before a clean up.

Fulgrim Pink is such a pretty shade, pictures really don't do it justice. It's a super soft, kinda powdery, pink.

Sister Superior built. I can see why pinning is such a big thing for Sororitas models. I'll definitely invest in some wire and a pair of cutters the next time I build a Battle Sisters Squad.

Folks, we gotta start work shopping a name for this cutie. What are we thinkin'?

My big 'n' thicc, unnamed, kappa lady. She had long, straight hair, and a huge water drop topping her head. Her build is chubby, but toned. Her upper arms are very defined, but her body is pudgey. Adorable, and soft. Big hips, thicc thighs. And a rainforest bush and happy trail. She also has clawed toes.

Something tells me I'm in for a big surprise.

Dynamite's Issue 1 of their new Ben 10 series. Front and center is Four Arms, with Diamond Head and, I think, Wildvine on either side of him. The other aliens in the background are: Water Hazard, I think, above Diamond Head, Grey Matter above him, and XLR8 above them. Above Wildvine is Upgrade, above them is Cannonbolt, and above him is Stinkfly. The center background character is the other fan favorite, ya boi, Heatblast.

I am so friggin' excited to read this.

These are all progress shots of a fis for one of the broken off tail coats, and I'm gonna toot my own horn. It looks pretty friggin good.

The underside of one of the War Herald's coat tails. One of the "stitches" is in place.

The topside of the coat tail, and the other side of the "stitch" placed as closely to the underside as possible.

The second "stitch" on top. These stitches took me around an hour to cut, glue, and place. I used spare plastic from a Gunpla base, and cut those in half to get the thickness I need. Then I just used either half as the underside, and top, of the "stitch".

Holy shit did I have to break my brain to figure that out, but it came out looking great.

Some personal paints I did between paints drying, a start on painting the War Herald's weapon options (add-ons for my buddy), and a look at the broken and glued tail coats.

Gaz Mini's Triangle Head model with her skin painted in Rakarth Flesh. Bought from Vellblade's Armory on Etsy.

The Power Sword weapon option for the War Herald. The blade is painted in Ironbreaker.

The backside of the Warherold model, from here you can see some faces on the upper forearms of the gauntlets, and those are a painted in Retributor Armor. You can also see the back of her corset (Deathclaw Brown), and the broken and "fixed" tails of her robe.

The first image is from my final progress shot to my buddy last night (16-17hrs), and the last three are progress images, and dried paint updates.

A huge paint progress on The War Herald from the last image. The chainsword is further painted. The teeth are painted in Iron Breaker, the body has Leadbelcher layered on top, the body has been started to be painted in Pure Red (Army Painter), the leather of the grip has a layer of Deathclaw Brown, and the pull handle in Retributor Armor. The pomel is painted in Leadbelcher.
Her corset has been painted in Deathclaw Brown. The corded rope along the chest of her robes are painted in Averland Sunset. The chain holding on to the book on her hip is painted in Ironbreaker.

A dried update of the War Herald's jump pack. The skull was based in Bad Moon Yellow, and Retributor Armor was layered on top. The Halo was painted in only Retributor Armor. The bottom section of the jump pack has Leadbelcher layered on top of the Ironbreaker.

The War Herald's body, her weapon options, and Sister Pyrella's base.

The War Herald's body has been partially painted. The armor on her legs, the shoulder pauldrons, and the collar have all been painted. The additional rebreather tubes, and her leg armor have all been painted in Ironbreaker. The shoulder pauldrons, and the armored collar have been painted in Leadbelcher.

All of the War Herald's subassemblies together, nothing has changed on the head and body. But the image includes the jump pack which has been painted in Ironbreaker everywhere except for a skull icon, and the "halo" on top of the pack.

The War Herald's body. Now the robes have been painted, in Wraithbone on the topside, and Blood Angels Red on the underside. Her gauntlets have now been painted in Iron Breaker. The chainsword was painted in Corax Black. The staff's head, the midsection, and base were base painted in Bad Moon Yellow, and Retributor Armor was layered on top.

The update here on the War Herald's body is the faces on her kneepads have been painted on Retributor Armor.

So these are what the mini looked like primed, and some progress images of the head as it got painted.

Some primed minis. The mini on the left is Gaz Mini's Sister Pyrella model that I bought from KitiMini on Etsy.
On the right are sub assemblies for my buddy's commission mini. Which is Gaz Mini's War Herald model, also from KitiMini on Etsy. I put the head assembly on a pin going through an old joint tube. The thruster pack assembly is on an old glasses screw pin. The War Herald body isn't on anything, but she's been equipped with her chainsword. The weapon options are a Bolt Pistol, Plasma Pistol, and a Power Sword for the left hand, and an Auto Pistol foe the right hand.

The War Herald's Head fully painted, but not finished. The gas mask the Herald is wearing, and the connecting ends on either side of her face are painted in Leadbelcher, and the breathing tubes themselves, and the plate along her temple are painted in Ironbreaker. Her hair, and eyebrows were based in Bad Moon Yellow, and I painted layers of Tesseract Glow on top for a vibrant punky look.
The War Herald has purple eyes, and I'm holding off on painting on her eyeliner for now. But the head is about 80 percent complete.

I also recommend putting your rice in with your beef, after the beef finishes cooking. Also, use the stuff in your fridge you were gonna make fried rice with. If there's a flavor that's overpowering the beef, the rice will pick it up, and mellow it out. This has been: Stuff I Just Learned with PK.
