A snipped of fanfic of a conversation between an Orzhova heiress who is very reach and snooty about it, and a Boros soldier as she meets with her 'friends' - workmates? charity cases maybe - on her flying broom to pick up the Simic Hybrid (Ivestris/Vesi) and do a sweep of an area for trouble. The text goes:

“-Okay fine, but are they poor.”
“Does that matter.” The soldier replied. “You just need to scout the area, and drop Vesi off where they need to be.”
“It matters because I’m not being shanked for someone I don’t know. I’m not being shanked for someone I do know.”
Lavinia frowned at her, but tried to put it out of mind. The Orzhov had strange ways.

My group won at quilt today. We don't know what winning at quilt is, but we know we won it, which is good. Actually, I think all twelve groups won at quilt, which is even better! A small friend hung out while waiting for the go-ahead. Butterflies during 2026 Trans Pride London, very fitting.

Jace really wasn’t responding. Lavinia found herself now in a cold sweat - she wasn’t a telepath herself, but they’d agreed to some kind of mental signal if she needed to check in - grudgingly, of course.

Collar up, the window of one of the cafes at her back, she tried to do the little trick again, but either he was ignoring her or she was doing it wrong, or…or…..

A cheer went up as a couple of Izzet storm mages had made an appearance, but said cheer turned to hooting and yelling when how to deal with the blaze became a three way shouting match between them, the Boros guards trying to contain the fire, and the Azorius talking about restrictions and regulations - Lavinia could name about six of the top of her head but all were overruled by the danger to the paperwork going up in the building and she very nearly broke cover, so compelled but something caught her eye.

The little Boros man from the day before, plain-clothed in standard leathers that strained at his belly but nimble around the crowd that was gathering. He brightened the moment a newcomer stepped out, nearly as tall as Lavinia, a shock of white hair pushed under a dark grey woolen thing and the heavy jacket she’d seen on Rakdos enforcers back when she’d been an actual officer on the street. The Rakdos Cultist seemed very displeased, and rather tired -

And oddly spooked by the flames. Lavinia had never seen a Cultist flinch from fire before.

Growling: “Absolute cheek askin’ me to pay to use the pisser. Polly, what is this.” Low voice but musical, a smoker’s burr. The ‘Wot yz thizz’ was Undercity East, slurred slightly with the true Rakdos patois. In their hands were two paper cups, paper tops, steam curling out of the drinking part and a couple of paper bags, of which the little man took one and peeked inside.

“It’s a bacon sandwich.” he responded cheerfully.

“No, this is an insult to th’ pigs. Look at it! Floppy! Wet! I’m surprised this is cooked, wait do they think my folk eat raw-”

The Kickstarter versions of Deep Regrets boardgame and the expansion, Deeper Regrets, still in their shipping box now shown from the back. The boxes are wrapped in old newspaper, reminiscent of how fish used to be packed from the fishmongers - the 'newspaper' wrapping has the newspaper title, the Inverness Times, July 2 1909, and continue with the creepy stories.

tumblr is a gift that keeps giving. Does the Multiverse have weed? IDK but I do know it has Halo (I mess around with an AU that has Jace as Ugin's pet warlock in an attempt to stop Bolas during his Guildpact years)

This is from the tumblr meme of a guy holding his little dog stateing 'at the vet because apparently tylenol decided to eat a joint' and then 'she's going to be ok she's just high as fuck'. I don't know if Magic the Gathering's worlds has weed, but it DOES have halo which has similiar effects.
