“Why are our roads so full of traffic? I bet it’s that cycle lane by Shrewsbury Station causing all the congestion everywhere” In unrelated news. “Look at this shiny new Land Rover” 👀
🤯 Cycle lane closed Cyclists dismount and use footway (ignoring that because of mobility issues) Footway closed and no drop kerb to get on anyway. Cycle traffic lights never sequenced so it’s always on a red 🚦. #Shrewsbury #WhyDontTheyUseTheCycleLanes
Because the width of 2 slimline road bikes parked up is not the same width most commuting cyclists need to cycle in opposite directions. #WhyDontTheyUseTheCycleLanes
Just build new housing estates with no pavements. No problems with up and down drop kerbs. Make it a level surface and lower the speeds obviously for pedestrian 🚶🚶🏻♀️👨🦽➡️ safety. 5-10mph? Must be cheaper to do?
These signs are actually magnetic to trolleys 🛒 Barrels Pots Cones Buckets Watering cans Pallets…… I wonder why nobody cycles there 🤔 Morrisons, Oswestry.
For all those people who drive by themselves moaning that the “pavements are too wide in town” 🙈🙉🛣️
If it helps this historic Shrewsbury street which is meant to be a pedestrian area not be the rat run short cut it normally is then, please, keep digging #Shrewsbury
