Gobo Sophos Anatomically modern goblins. The most numerous and diverse member of the clade, having spread across the planet. The two shown are both from ethnic groups of The Cradle, easily distinguished by their lack of tails. #Gobocene #Worldbuilding #Specevo #Goblins

The woman is from the Theocratic City-States of the Northeastern Cradle, her pigmentation pattern being highly irregular, her people, called Apikuu in Kwamodaa, typically have darker pigmentation in a relatively even distribution around the eyes and on the appendages.
The man is likely Apikwam, from somewhere in the Isles off the West coast. His people are adept sailors and traders.

Gobo Sophos Roseus A diminutive subspecies endemic to the islands off the southern coast of Arcadia. Their neotenic traits & short stature a response to the limited resources of their maritime home. (Inspired by the work of @goblinpink.bsky.social) #Gobocene #Worldbuilding #Specevo #Goblins

Aside from their noticeably tiny size they differ from the baseline in their long tails, large ears, and very robust hips and legs. Moreover they have an unusually good mana sense, allowing them to very easily read the emotional states of others or sense the presence of life around them.

They maintain a number of basal features such as the full length tail and the unusual dentition of their ancestors, their prominent upper canines giving them a pseudo "sabretooth".

Female & Male examples.

They have very stout builds, with much thicker bodyhair than their northern cousins, as well as more natural body fat. Their greyish skintones come from the largely mana deficient arctic environments they inhabit, but can range into pale greens and blues.

The Woolly Bonehead. A megafaunal herbivore endemic to The Great Steppe. Its hump is both partly formed from the structural reinforcement & a massive reserve of fat & water during lean seasons. Many people's of the south build their lifeways around these creatures. #Gobocene #Fauna #Worldbuilding

a distant cousin of the Boneheads of The Cradle, the easiest way to think of these fellas is "Wooly Mammoth Fused with Triceratops". They move in grand grazing herds across the south, their thunderous steps and ravenous appetites keeping the south a vast swath of cold grassland.

The Bonehead is a common sight on the plains and wetlands of The Cradle. Herbivores moving in vast herds across the the grassy expanses of Western Arcadia, grazing on the verdant wilds between The Lantern Grass Plains and The Glass Desert. #Gobocene #Fauna #Worldbuilding

These fellas are sorta the equivalent of a wildebeest or wild cow, albeit a bit ornerier. Good eats tho.

The yop is a mid sized grazing animal roughly analogous to earth ungulates, anylers included. The term originates qith the Apikwam, refering origonally to species of The Cradle, but for our purposes it can refer to a wide array of animals from across this clade. #Gobocene #Fauna #Worldbuilding
