back in 2022 i had the idea for a "Hamilton x Destiny 2" animatic following the death of Cayde in Forsaken - i drew this before i had to leave for work that day, and then never touched it again but now i kinda want to revisit this because the concept goddamn ruled
and now it's super simple to copy/tweak the shader for other models like Medabee!
practiced creating a new stylized 3D shader in #GooEngine Megaman Battle Network and Medabots were two of my favourite series growing up, the crossover model felt like a perfect testing ground (model ripped by InfiniteFoes on Newgrounds)
some folks asked about Pinball With A Gun's voiceover/filter, and what the audio sounds like without it it's... just me LMFAO
a struggle i've had with these models is making a shader where coloured light doesn't wash out the textures - it felt overwhelming to even TRY figuring out why, but the fix was embarrassingly simple (literally one well-placed "multiply" node) now the models keep their rich colours! #b3D #GooEngine
i don't think i've publicly shared how the characters' expressions work yet! it's really simple, actually! each eye has a "tilt IN" and "tilt OUT" value, and a "Squint" and "Wide-Eyed" values that i can mix and match to make their faces more expressive if needed #b3d #gooengine

i’ve ordered custom foil cards from Vograce as well, and can vouch they’re VERY good!! the colours print super well, and their templates are helpful for organizing your foil/ink layers too
