The Hays Code was a major component of the long-term harm done to LGBT people by classing us as degenerates who can't be shown on screen in a positive light, so it's fitting that the Wikipedia article on the Hays Code doesn't seem to mention LGBT people at all. William Hays would've been proud.

Anyway, I put it in a chart. This is the uptake of transphobia on Bluesky. It literally drops off a cliff after like 100 accounts.
I found that there were 27,854 accounts that have liked at least one post from these exclusively transphobic accounts.
