had fun playing chess for the first time since December, and even beat some strong players along the way, but very rusty, unsurprisingly. maybe i should do this more often

collected myself after a horrible day of brain fog to beat Wei Yi 1.5-0.5 in the round of 16, but even that ended up being the wrong way round - not winning with black in a drawn 1st match was much more relevant than winning a pretty decent 2nd game when it ended up impacting nothing at all.
