I love my herding dogs but (a) they were both the laziest ones in their litters and (b) i really love spending time with them and working with them. They get a lot more exercise (physical and mental) than the average house dog

When I adopted Bandit they told me his dog was “mostly border collie, maybe some heeler.” Now that Bandit has lost a little weight and I can see his body shape better, he is looking verrrryyyyy cattle dog 😅 (bad photo bc I forever have sunscreen smudged on my camera lenses)
It was a beautiful sunny 85° day so he floofed back up in no time
