Tiny Glade 🏰🌿
@pouncelight
#TinyGlade is a small relaxing diorama builder where you doodle whimsical castles, cozy cottages & romantic ruins. 🐑 💌
It's been 84 years, but we're cooking again! For y'all who wanted to build rustic villages, here's a sneak peek of upcoming wooden walls 👀
📣🍏 Tiny Glade now runs on macOS! Mac users can finally pet the sheep (um, the rest of the game should work too 🤭) You'll need one of them "Apple silicon" Mac 'puters, like M1, M2, etc. or MacBook Neo. See our full post for details: store.steampowered.com/news/app/219...
Hullo! We have a musical announcement for you today :3 Our composer, @odaodaoda.bsky.social made a new version of the soundtrack, especially for vinyl. It’s more ambient than the original album, channeling the peaceful vibes of Tiny Glade 🍃
What is that outside? "-1C feels like -5C"? Dark at 4PM? 😳 ... sounds like the perfect time for a warm beverage, comfy blanket, and #CozyQuest2025 and to sweeten the deal, Tiny Glade is 20% off :3 store.steampowered.com/sale/CozyQue...
Tiny Glade is 20% off as a part of the Tiny Teams festival (@tinyteamsfest.bsky.social) and the Wholesome Games Celebration (@wholesomegames.com) on Steam 🐑🤏 There's a ton of unusual, charming, and bite-sized games to try - and streams to watch. Check them out! :3
The filters, brightness, contrast and saturation adjustments from photo mode will now also be applied in build mode. So if you want to make it more spoopy, or turn summer into a chilly day, now you can do that even while building.
You can now select which clutter you want by entering its focus mode (by default, right-click). This also includes additional clutter with carved pumpkins with glowing eyes from the Halloween update, so you don't need to have a special glade anymore to get them.
Buildings with plaster got a new customization option: the intensity of plaster peeling off.
The old floor pattern got a visual uplift, and acquired new friends: 2 stone and 3 wood patterns. They can be accessed via the customization tool.
Another new addition is cobblestone roads, and they come in 3 variants. You can combine the variants and blend them with paths, creating more run-down or chaotic surfaces. Me, I'm more of a lawful-alignment cobblestone person, but I’m very curious how you’re gonna use them!
At some point we realized that it would be nice to have the ability to delete supports where you don't want them. But what should happen if all supports are deleted? Well, luckily we know a few wizards, and they happily lent us some of their spells 🧙
Stairs understand if you place them on buildings - they snake around towers, and automatically create little platforms to go around corners.
The star of this update is of course the new stairs! Initially the tool set was intended for stairs alone, but we've designed it to also accommodate bridges and walkways. Stairs turn into platforms & ladders depending on steepness, and can be attached to walls and flattened roofs.
I'm so happy to share that the stairs update is liiiiiive. This is by far our biggest update that we've been cooking since *checks calendar* omg, since March x_x Huge thanks to everyone who helped us test it while in beta <3 Now lemme walk you through some of the new shinies 🧵
We're participating in the ☕Cozy & Family Friendly Games Celebration (@cozycelebration.bsky.social), and Tiny Glade is 15% off from May 29 until June 2 🌻🐑 If you're looking for a dose of coziness, make sure to check out the festival. There are plenty of great games to relax with~
Okay, folks, this is still super WIP but I wanted to share this sneak peek of a new stair tool we’ve been working on :33 There might also be some cobblestone coming 👀
Wooo! We just got an email from Valve that Tiny Glade is officially Steam Deck Verified 🎉🎉 P.S. Tiny Glade is now 20% off!
Tiny Glade has won the "Best Art Direction" award at Indie Pearls Awards 🧡 and the organizers have sent us this lovely trophy 🥺 Thank you!
We fixed large wooden brackets, so now they are properly removed to make space for windows, doors, etc. They will also disappear for buildings with lowest height (for nicer overhangs).
We've added TGSR - our own resolution upscaling. We've optimized the default settings on Steam Deck for a better balance of performance, image clarity, and power use. The Deck now uses "TGSR Quality" by default, and an FPS limit of 30.
For buildings with roofs, we'd previously restricted their minimum height such that you could still have wooden gates in them, but we figured that's not a necessary restriction. You can now make them very short, almost tent-like.
Circular buildings shall no longer look upon rectangular ones with jealousy. If you right-click a round building, you'll now see a curved arrow that lets you adjust rotation. Now you can get those support pillars juuust right.
You can now right-click on terrain chunks, revealing the ability to move them. This mode also shows all the other available controls, like changing height and falloff.
Terrain height is 2x higher now, making builds more epic, and ensuring that every day is leg day 😏
New update is live! 🐑☂ We've gathered a variety of smaller improvements, and figured we could package them up into a full update :3 I started writing a summary of changes, but I think it's much better to see it all visually, so lemme give you a tour... 🧵
We've also added new modes for camera rotation and zoom to make the Steam Deck & controller experience better. Camera controls patch notes here: store.steampowered.com/news/app/219...
We've finished conjuring the ancient incantations of Steam Input into Tiny Glade, and the tickbox of "Controller Support" is now officially ticked! 🎮 Full patch notes: store.steampowered.com/news/app/219...
Oh my gosh, folks, you did it! Thanks to your nominations, Tiny Glade is one of the finalists for the "Sit Back and Relax" Steam Award 💖💖💖 This is beyond what we've ever expected :DD If you'd like to vote for us in the finals too, you can do so here: store.steampowered.com/news/app/219...
You can now adjust the automatically spawned clutter: move, rotate, delete and clone it. I can't wait to see what you make - picnic spots, taverns, a hut where a hoarder of food baskets dwells? :DD
Hey, y'all! Hope you're well and feeling festive ⛄ We've just released a winter update for Tiny Glade, lifting the light count limit and adding the ability to move clutter 🧵
