Some essential purchases while out and about today. Also ran into some old friends and had some good chats.
I hear you guys are sweltering back in HRM. Be jealous of my Northern NL weather 😂
We took the kids to the pond where we used to go swimming. It was a balmy 18 with a feels like temp of 15 😂 We weren’t eating and this seagull screamed at us and left in disgust 😂
Made it to our hotel where we are staying the week. Tomorrow is a provincial holiday so I have to go to the store soon to grab a few things.
Made it to the hotel in Stephenville. Time to rest and drive up the Northern Peninsula in the morning.
Last day of school for my kids this morning. 10yo gave me an inspo pic for her hair colour 😂
I made a new playlist today. It hits right when I have to adult and everyone around me breathing irritates the heck out of me.
When I had PF many moons ago I got one of these to wear while sleeping and it really helped.
Spent an hour and a half clearing 10 gallons of weeds, first poppy bloom of the season and my senior cat in his happy place 😂
I put my herbs, and leafy greens in last week and these wee sugar snap peas are peeking through. My little garden makes me so happy.
My strawberry planters are filling out nicely. All of the green leafy plants will flower. They are things I winter sowed in bags. I also finally got my dahlias and ranunculus in pots. This week I’m gonna get my tomatoes and squash and cucumelons in 🙌
I finally finished planting all my flowers and amended another upteen flower pots this afternoon.
Thanks! Here’s a couple pics I took just now when I was potting them up.
I put potting mix in the bags and sprinkled the seeds. Then I stuck holes in the bottom. I put holes in below the zipper on each side and threaded all the bags onto two bamboo stakes and propped them up between my raised beds. I moved them off the beds a couple weeks ago.
Yes, this is where we used to go back when we both had kurigs. After my second Ninja specialty coffee maker died I got this guy and he’s been great. I liked the Ninja because I had the option of one cup up to a carafe. This does that and we can also use k-cups again.
This inning is so entertaining. I’ve been doing my arts and crafts projects for Dad’s first celebration of life next weekend, on his birthday.
Now we continue to snuggle while she builds and creates interactions in her Toca Boca world and I catch up with pocket friends.
