Grateful Dead, Phish, Geopolitics Skiing Can Save You...
The summer I moved to the Bitterroot Valley, in 2000, 300,000 acres burned on the south end of the valley. This famous photo was taken by John McColgan, an Alaskan fire fighter who was here as mutual aid. That fire burned for 2 months.
Ya man, amazing zone. We backcountry ski in the same basin when conditions are right during winter. It's a magical spot. Came home and wife had this on the table! I ate everything lol
This is one of our cats, Cassidy. She's pretty small so we affectionately call her Teeny Tiny.
One of our cats so expertly skinned this mouse that my wife had to pin it on the outside wall above the dog door as some kind of medieval/Western icon. It's needs a small Stuart Little sized sign that warns mice, lol
Maybe the last day? Taking advantage of an empty ski hill after this week's storm.
