Okay, I did it! I'm now offering translations/localizations for games. At the moment I'll only offer translations for visual novels and RPG Maker games. I put a general rate but it's still negotiable (as long as I don't get offered peanuts for translating an extremely long game).

-Game Translations-

I offer translation services for indie games. These can be either from English to Latam Spanish or from Latam Spanish to English.

I have previously translated a few stories from the mobile game company Favary Inc and one of my own games (Where Winter Crows Go). I intend to translate (most of) my other games too.

While the title says "translation", what I do is more of a localization process, since certain things in stories can't be literally translated. Therefore, I always look for the best way to convey the intended meaning.

-Rates-

My rates are negotiable, especially for indie projects that have a limited budget. But, overall, here is a general idea:

‣ Writing: $0.05 per word.
‣ QA: $0.02 to $0.05 per word.
‣ Game Translations: $0.02 to $0.05 per word.

Note for the last 2: It also depends on how long your game is.

-Terms of Service-

◆ Payments must be made in USD through PayPal. Invoices preferred.

◆ I typically ask for 50% of the payment before I start working and 50% once it's finished. Work will only start after I receive the first 50%.

◆ Refunds will only be possible if I cannot finish the work. Once the work is finished, I do not accept refunds.

◆ I won't provide any services for projects that use AI, AI-created assets or NFTs.

◆ I don't write NSFW or romance involving incest and/or adults with minors.

◆ At the moment, I only translate visual novels and RPG Maker games.

◆ For translation jobs, please provide me with a Google Sheet/Excel with every single text in the game that you want me to translate. There should be a column next to the main language titled with the language you want me to translate to (English or Latam Spanish).

◆ If you want me to incorporate the translation into your game myself, this needs to be discussed beforehand and will make the price go up.

A lot of people don't know this but Panacea is actually my true dream project. Yes, Mystic Cipher is too, in a way, but Panacea is the main reason why I wanted to make games in the first place. It's a story that takes place in Essentia, just like Potion Pleasing and Azure Flame.

Hummingbird's Crown initially was born as a project for the Otome Jam in 2022 made by Favel Novel. Favel Novel was a small group I was a part of in 2022 where we created Detective Gidget, Hummingbird's Crown and Panacea: Rebirth.

Another short kinetic novel! But this one takes place in Cedaria. You might have already guessed but, basically, all of my stories with more of a "modern take" take place in Cedaria while those that are fantasy (because of witches, dragons and the like) take place in Essentia.

Azure Flame is a shortish kinetic novel set in Essentia, the same universe as Potion Pleasing. It tells the story of a gay AND ace couple who face discrimination for being of different species (Carmelo is a dragon while Vance is a hybrid of dragon & wyvern) and some homophobia.

Potion Pleasing is probably my most ambitious visual novel, so far. It has an original soundtrack, a very immersive UI that even has a glossary and plans for a mini-game that will tie directly with the story and condition certain endings.

Mystic Cipher is an upcoming RPG Maker game about a paranormal detective (Fay) and her assistant (Carl) solving supernatural cases. It also takes place in Cedaria. This is one of my dream games; I've always wanted to make a detective-like game, especially with a pixel art aesthetic.

Reynard is a very short kinetic novel set in the same fictional country as Killer Trait: Cedaria (it was made for a game jam where the limit was 1k words, which is why it's so short). It functions as a sort of spin off, since Carl appears in Killer Trait and Fay makes a "cameo" as well.

Probably my most popular game, so far! Set in the same fictional country as WWCG (Cedaria), Killer Trait tells the story of a police officer who works as a criminal profiler, but actually dreams of being a detective (and is very close to reaching that dream)!

One of my 2 most popular games! Where Winter Crows Go tells the story of a very burnout person going on a skiing holiday only to get trapped in a blizzard and having to spend a week in a cabin in the middle of nowhere with a seemingly kind stranger... unless they want to freeze to death.
