A US airman accused of a “spree” of rapes and sexual assaults in England, drugging some women and breaking into the homes of others, was able to avoid British justice after local police handed over part of the case to the American military.

In recent weeks the Guardian has reported on the cases of Jacob Wulfson, a US fighter pilot who strangled a British woman in his apartment in Cambridge; Tyrion Davis, an American airman who sexually assaulted a British woman in Brandon, Suffolk; and Hannes Marschalek, a US airman who allegedly exposed himself to a 16-year-old girl and four young women in Littleport, Cambridgeshire, in 2022.

I call fake. See this post which has same clouds, an identical hauling truck in front of the trailer, same trailer and similar message but targeting CA (California) instead of Canada, and written in blue not red. Most telling is the "Made with Grok Imagine" tag.

AI systems require massive amounts of computing power, which come from servers stored in data centres. Powering those data centres and cooling the machinery requires lots of electricity. As utilities in the U.S. look to meet the immense power demand from AI, in several cases, the costs of grid upgrades have been passed on to the everyday consumer.

A 2025 report from the Center for American Progress found utility costs are rising across the U.S. due in large part to the increased electricity demand of AI data centres. Residents in at least 41 states are seeing higher electric and gas bills.

After Supreme Court knocked down Liberation Day tariffs, Trump admin imposed Section 122 temp tariffs which expire July 24, 2026. That seems to explain timing of new 50% Canada tariffs and more Europe tariffs expected before end of July.

** Feb 20, 2026: Supreme Court invalidated April 2025 “Liberation Day” tariffs. Court-mandated refunds being processed.
** Admin then invoked Section 122 of 1974 Trade Act to impose 10% across-the-board import surcharge on goods from nearly all countries for 150 days. Unless extended by Congress, the Section 122 authority expires on July 24, 2026.
** Admin has moved to reconstruct their tariff wall through other sections, including:
• Section 301 of 1974 Trade Act
• Section 232 of 1962 Trade Expansion Act
• Section 338 of 1930 Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act
Officials describe the aim of these new tariffs as “maintaining virtually unchanged tariff revenue in 2026.”

All but two Canadian provinces and territories have halted the purchase, distribution, or retailing of U.S. alcoholic beverages, and have not imposed similar restrictions on other countries.

Canada did not pay for the bridge. They financed it; with interest. The cars/trucks crossing the bridge are the ones who pay, via tolls.

ORIGINAL FINANCING PLAN:
1. 100% of toll collection goes to pay off the financing debt. Estimate to pay off the debt plus accrued interest was 30-50 years.
2. After the debt is paid off, then tolls are split 50%-50% between Michigan-Canada.

NEW FINANCING PLAN:
1. For the first 15 years:
• 50% of toll collection goes towards paying off the financing debt.
• 50% goes into a regional economic development fund to benefit both sides of the border (i.e. Detroit-Windsor).
2. 16th year onward:
• 100% of tolls go towards the Canadian financing debt until it is fully paid. With the smaller payments for the first 15 years, and accrued interest, it will now take 90+ years to pay off the financing debt.
3. After the debt is paid off, then tolls are split 50%-50% between Michigan-Canada governments.

There are two reasons for Noem’s appointment to NovaRed's advisory board: 2/4

1. US investors:
In addition to NovaRed Mining trading on CSE (Canadian Securities Exchange) under NRED, they also trade on US OTC (Over The Counter) markets under NREDF. They want to use Noem’s connections in US government to attract US investment in their company. This will be used to advance their Wilmac Copper-Gold Project from exploration to actual production.

2. Supply chain:
Copper is vitally important for AI data center construction. While USA has lots of copper, they only have about 50% of what they need. We see US foreign policy focus on acquiring “rare earth minerals” and “critical minerals”. Think Greenland, Ukraine, China. Having Noem on their advisory board will help NovaRed get US government support when they start selling their mined copper and other minerals to US tech billionaire customers.
