Hanging out at Pleasure House Point in Virginia Beach today. We took my EV and it was so nice not to worry about how much gas I was using waiting in traffic. This spot is always lovely and there were sooo many varieties of herons and egrets!

I voted in our Virginia primary elections today. So many choose to sit primaries out, but in many cases these are the most impactful elections people can participate in!

We went on a boat tour through some of the tall ships that are here for USA 250 and it was so cool!
When we moved here this hydrangea was in bad shape. It barely bloomed and was mostly a pile of sticks. I've been caring for it and this year it is finally full and beautiful! It's a reminder that the things (and people) we show regular care for benefit, as do we the caregivers.

I had such an amazing time with our Wason Scholars, some members of CNU SGA, and many CNU alumni at Captains in the Capitol Thursday! The students got to meet with lawmakers and watch the legislative session through committees and from the chamber galleries.
