Daily Diary Comix - ...I have a LOT of Cloonan comics. A lot. You don't even wanna know how many editions and floppies I bought of Somna. ...that copy of East Coast Rising has seen far better days. I lent it out CONSTANTLY.

Daily Diary Comix - Senior Year Teen!Me would be shocked at how much I love MCR these days. Seeing Gerard Way screaming with those big peepers really freaked me out back then - I was a total ska kid at the time.

A B&W Comic. Seriously, Vampire Money reeled me in, and Danger Days sealed it with a kiss! A concept rock album with the comic art of Vasilis Lolos and Becky Cloonan! I regret not getting into them sooner - WHAT AN ALBUM. I'm glad we get to see them this summer!

Daily Diary Comix: Oops - been forgetting to post these here. Too many sites - too busy havin' fun. Note: I found these sandals for $20 at a TJ Maxx a few weeks after drawing this.

Daily Diary Comix! Seeing AKIRA for the first time really rewired my brain chemistry. I was probably too old at 15 to be pretending like that, but I had a lot of fun. My brother custom painted that bike and I treasured it. Hopefully whatever dickhead stole it does too!

Don't get me wrong - I *adore* Sailor Moon, and I had already seen shows like Armitage the Third and AEON FLUX. There was just something so special about AKIRA - maybe it was because I was the same age as the main cast, or it was my first time seeing delinquents in anime... whatever it was I just couldn't help myself, fell head over heels for the movie! ...also because I was a cringe ass 15 year old and my mom was a total baller I was allowed to dress myself however... and due to watching anime I was BIG into knee socks. Only I couldn't get proper knee socks in town, so they were basically short panty hose. Not cute at all, but props for tryin' kid!

My brother had gotten an airbrush and did a lot of autobody work, and he was painting flames onto ANYTHING he could (including a lawn mower!) The flames were meant to be black going into blue, but the pearly top coat turned the black purple. Ugh, gorgeous. I miss her daily! She was stolen off of my deck in Rochester, MN. I hope that she's still in working condition, and that some other kids have had a lot of fun riding!

Back to Daily Diary Comix! Because being down a car wasn't enough, my kitchen sink had a pipe seal fail, AND then my Wacom Cintiq died. I'm glad that I still had my Intuos Pro - but Cintiq are so nice, you have no clue. @wacom-japan.bsky.social この部品はありますか？I will need to repair, or get new.

Seriously! The Wacom dying is such a major blow. I keep hoping that if I power cycle it long enough that it will somehow resurrect - but I am on the hunt for a new power board. I don't want to have to solder anything, and ideally would like the board + the AC adapter on it.

My town is right on the Mississippi river. There's this out of the way beach that's pretty lonely, but cool! A lot of eagles nest and eat there, so you can find a lot of interesting bones beneath their trees. The gar skull (potentially longnose gar?) was smashed into several pieces - it almost looked split! It's scales were also there - I was mazed at just how reptilian they looked.

Is God Is was a ton of fun! I really regret not seeing that one in theaters. If you love Kill Bill and Battle Royale, I fully believe Is God Is will be right up your alley. I 💕 Racine and Anaia so so much

I'm thrilled June is here - May is a brutal month. Dealing with car loss, death anniversaries, rescuing ducklings, my first FLOP!, meeting new friends, and seeing old ones. What a mixed bag! I'm cautiously leaving my comfort zone.

A photo of a very large peony bush - the flowers are a vibrant pink with light pink inner petals. Judging by the rough size of the plant it might be as old as me, if not older.

When I first bought the house all of the peonies were blighted with powder mildew. I fought it for years, and now in our 5th year the plants are bigger than I ever imagined, with massive floral payloads! I've never seen a peony get as tall as my shoulder before!

The inside of the pond is deeper than the surround area - (outer lip is only~3" tall, easy for baby to hop over) - but the inner lip is almost 12" - far too tall for our little friends here. I did intervene and move them out of the fountain - there was already one that was completely soaked, so they had been in there for a while.

The first page is a warning - (and works better on sites like Insta for the slides). I <3 sex dreams, even if I don't have them often, and they come out kinda warped. Ghostface was fun to draw - I love the romantic and sexy nature of a knife fight... (Aeon Flux x Trevor Goodchild rotted my brain).

I like to roll immediately out of bed and start walking the dog. Dinky knows with our current routine that it's once before work, with a second after my shift ends. Also I'm thrilled, but kinda pissed, that light therapy masks work. They're the only thing to defeat my acne.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS contains very rough comics that were made during the months after my surgery. I dislocated my knee and had a pulmonary embolism. Sometimes I only have time to sketch on sticky notes - I take what I can.
