I am still waiting for like a "Logan" style treatment of Scooby Doo where like all of the gang is dead except for Velma and Scoob and they are desperately trying to survive some post-apocalyptic hellscape. Velma learns she can't get by on just her wits alone and Scooby learns how to be brave.

I often think Oliver Reed's death. He was 61 years old in a bar in Malta. He drank 8 pints of beer, 12 shots of rum, half a bottle of whisky, & several shots of cognac in a drinking contest with young sailors. He died of a heart attack that night. But maybe he had more fun than the rest of us.

I was just thinking about that movie the other day. It has some really good sequences in it. As I get older, I more and more relate to Ralph Fiennes becoming a junky to replaying his visceral memories of lost love and happier days. I need to watch that again. It's been like 20 years
