Here’s the framed version of my oil painting of Jalama Beach “Golden Hour”

"Golden Hour" (6"x 8" oil on canvas board) was painted from that moment on Jalama Beach, above Santa Barbara, when everything is bathed in beautiful golden light. This painting was sold to a pilot, who said it reminded him of sights he would see while flying. #landscapepainting

I came across these deer while hiking in Aliso & Wood Canyons last year. This was one of the 6 landscape oil paintings I sold last weekend at the Back Bay Show in Newport Beach, California. Feeling very fortunate to have made some sales!

I was teaching a workshop at the Printing Museum at the time, and her explanation of the drawing prompted me to make this woodtype poster. So if you are a bald man with tiny glasses that was walking around LA yesterday, you may have inspired two pieces of art 🤣 #letterpress

I would like to get my cards printed earlier than the weekend before Christmas, but it never happens. This is laser cut instead of linocut because of the registration involved (it’s two colors) I will hand deliver them to the neighbors today. Happy holidays everyone! #letterpress

I finished up this plein air oil painting I started last week. My daughter and I try to go outdoors to paint every Wednesday. We both loved this scene and the raking light across the path. 🎨

Two watercolor paintings from my camping trip at Jalama Beach, CA last week. When I go camping I do a plein air painting every morning while DH makes breakfast. It gives me a nice travel diary of our trips, and painting really fixes the scene in your mind. 🎨 #dailypainting #pleinair
