Just on the border of what comes into Northern Ontario. The sky is yellow, the taste and smell of acrid smoke permeates the air. It feels thick on your skin and in your lungs. Agree, not normal.
Had my own this afternoon in Ontario. Was going up to make dinner and I guess someone had the same idea.
Went up to get dinner started, saw we had a guest show up early. Good thing I had plenty of salad. This is fairly regular around here that they get this close.

I think there is some form of irony that IBM fired 1000's of HR staff, replaced them with AI. Then had to hire them back. They couldn't teach the AI empathy while the AI was firing people. PC load letter.

Ok, while this is generally a good thing, it is one of the pain sticking points for me. Professionally I was doing this in Ontario 15 years ago. We had working systems, they threw them all away. Records are still being faxed.
