One of the best kept secrets in houseplants….. African violets. They come in sizes from mini to standard, sit right on the sill and if you keep them in a self watering pot it takes off so much work. I love them

Got a few photos not too long ago of a resident carpenter bee returning to its hole in the same piece of fence
Was wondering when I’d see one of these guys! Where there’s carpenter bees, there’s tiger bee flies. They’re not bees, but true flies. While the adults are pollinators, the larvae eat carpenter bees larva. This is probably a female since she’s found right where the bees have set up home
This is the version I did in 2023. I wasn’t even trying to redo it, it was just what I was in the mood to paint. Sometimes it feels like I haven’t grown or changed artistically, but when I compare where I am now with ceramics to when I first started renting, it’s night and day

Unicorn piece! Everything has gone so fast that I’m down to the last two painted pieces and I didn’t have time to get things photographed ;; thank yall so much, I can’t wait to make more when I get home
Fun fact! I was in college at the time the updated accessibility icon was being developed! I took classes with two of the designers on the project, one of the guys whipped it out in class to ask us our opinions LOL. It’s just kinda neat to see a furry version out in the wild
