Sadly, we lost our beautiful Tegan Tasoula this past Saturday. 🌈 She struggled with gastroenteritis since she was 5 months old, and very few treatments had lasting success. Even the feeding tube put in last week could not hold off the inevitable. We'll see you in the afterlife, teeny beanie girl.

Happy 2nd birthday to my sibling kitty trio: Nadja, Tegan, and Ozzy! 🥰 You guys are so loving, so goofy, and so darn adorable. And SO hard to get in one photo together, because Ozzy is sure all the food should be his. 😝

Almost forgot to post this! Happy 3rd birthday to my bestest girl Fae. 🥰 You turned into a very sweet kitty and we are very lucky to have you in our lives. I know she enjoyed her birthday treat (Churu with Greenies).

Whew. This little stinker just cost us over $1,300 at the vet. But an ultrasound shows thickening of her small intestine, which explains why she isn't absorbing food or gaining weight. More tests are going to the lab. I'm We may have to come back for an endoscopy. My poor aching bank account.

We've had a rough couple of weeks, between sick cats & hubby needing stitches in a fingertip, then my back & neck going out badly. So we treated ourselves to the K-Pop Demon Hunters sing-along show. We were the only adults without kids, and I do not care. 😌 It was an absolute blast.

Nope. I know the "hell" we're experiencing is, depressingly, real life, because my particular gods would not condemn me to an afterlife of this crap. Remember, Shakespeare famously wrote "hell is empty and all the devils are here". Still the truth.

Hmmm... Found this 2 ft tall Jimsonweed growing in my yard. It definitely was not there a week ago when we last mowed. Quite interesting. Any witches out there who have dealt with the plant in their practice? #witchsky
