Trump’s need to gold-plate everything reminds me of Saddam Hussein’s gold AK. Trump is a gold-plated AK pressed to Democracy’s head. The barrel is hot, and Democracy is already bleeding out from several massive wounds. Emblazoned across the barrel: “I alone can fix it.”
