Day 30, Your Next Final Fantasy Game - FFXIV Shadowbringers I've heard so many good things and I am feeling the need to return to FFXIV, just no idea when yet! Otherwise, it might be Final Fantasy 2 Pixel Remaster to practice my Brazilian Portuguese more.
Day 26, Most Difficult Boss Fight - the end of FF8. I remember spending days trying different combinations and even surviving for 3 hours in one attempt when I was younger and just eventually gave up. Yet again, I hate FF8 lol.
Day 25, Favorite World/Setting - Ivalice (Final Fantasy Tactics) Revisiting this with the enhanced edition lately, and damn I appreciate it even more than I already did. It's just so well done.
Day 24, Worst Minigame - Jumping rope in Final Fantasy IX Never got the 1000 jumps and do not care lol
Day 23, Favorite Minigame - Blitzball from Final Fantasy X I like when I can basically ignore the minigames - and I did the first time I played the game, but WOW did I get sucked into this on following playthrus. I just absolutely love this weird real time tactical gameplay for sports.
Day 21, Favorite Armor Design - Red Mage Red Mages have always been a favorite of mine - but damn the design in FF14 is just so good.
Day 20, Favorite Story - Final Fantasy X Changing the world even at your own expense. Exploring what it means to be and find family.
Day 19, Favorite Supporting Character or NPC - Tataru from FF14. Struggles with their own self worth and worried they cannot do enough, while being someone who holds it together for everyone else. They are the sweetest.
Day 18, Favorite Sequel/Spinoff/Remake - FF7 Remake I have loved a lot of games, but I can't remember the last time I had such a big grin all the way through. Genuinely love so much about Remake (I won't talk about Rebirth)
Day 14, Favorite Summoner - Yuna FF10 has the most incredible thematic uses of summoning in any of the Final Fantasy games in MULTIPLE ways. Yuna having to play a parent role to a world when she is still so young herself, represented perfectly in the mechanics of what she does that will save them.
Day 13, Favorite Black Mage - Vivi (he is on my arm!) Who is not picking Vivi? My next favorites would probably be Lulu and Palom
Day 12, Favorite White Mage - Aerith It's REAL close with Yuna for me, but I will never forget the first time I played FF7 and a huge part of that is Aerith. I've really loved getting to spend more time with her and the others in the Remakes.
Day 11, Favorite Dragoon Character - Fang She would do anything for Vanille
Day 8, Favorite Cutscene - Fang & Vanille. At least right now, I think on this one a lot and I'm waiting to get these 2 characters as part of my sleeve tattoo. There's so many great cutscenes throughout the series this one was hard, but this particular one made me appreciate the game a lot more.
Trans people, quote post with a photo of yourself you love. I try to take a picture every day. It's nice loving who I am in the mirror.
Day 1, First FF - Final Fantasy 1 on the NES (yes, I am old). I was very little and don't think I fully got was going on but it still stands out to me. That damn rat's tail. (alt text included)
I had to remember which account because before Steam had good family sharing I had a whole system of accounts to manage family purchases. So which one was previously my account is "the main" family account. Also funny like 2 of these was cause a friend wanted me to play and I did not vibe with.
Ok the top 4 from ones I've seen! I am pleased Neo from The Matrix is 5th too.
