25. Chernobyl (2019) Excellent show if not maddening and heartbreaking. I only had a very baseline understanding of what happened at Chernobyl and while I know this was a dramatization, it helped me understand the levity of the tragedy and the cost of human life that resulted from it.
She passed away in my lap, RIP Silly Willie Baby Chili 3/3/2025 - 7/5/2026 (she's snoozin')
24. Assassin's Creed Shadows (2025) I need to preface this by saying, I'm writing this before doing the epilogue or any of the DLC content. And that's mostly because I'm not 100% sure I'm going to do any of it, honestly. For the first AC game I've beaten since Unity, I find myself very... whelmed.
I got a bit emotional yesterday while hanging out with baby Chili, just looking at her and realizing how big she's gotten since she was brought home. Who gave her the right 😭 She'll always be my widdle baby though
23. A Magical Girl Retires (2024) Read this for book club! Unsurprisingly the most manga-like novel I've ever read. Short read too, only took me like 2.5 hours to get through it. Interesting concept, decent subversion of expectation, but a fairly weak ending IMHO.
Hops up on my shoulder and immediately starts purring. Love that one of her favorite places on Earth is my fucking shoulders lol
22. Spider-Noir (2026) I really enjoyed this! A gangster detective show with a Spider-Man twist. Nicholas Cage is excellent, perfect fit. He's so good at the "NYEEEH SEE?" aesthetic of 1930's NYC. Fun show and a fairly quick watch.
Brother I do not believe you are getting drafted into the PWHL for a couple of reasons
Someone had an early vet appointment. Diagnosis is in, she is a cutie patootie in perfect health 🤠
21. Backrooms (2026) Weird fucking movie. I was pretty engaged with it throughout, so I give it credit there. Kinda surreal to watch a movie based on a 2019 4chan creepypasta regardless of the quality of the film. Definitely worth a watch if you're curious.
The Vegas Golden Knights had less regular season wins than the Detroit Red Wings
Every time I lay on the couch, this MF will inevitably show up to come hang out. I don't think anyone or anything on this planet has ever loved me so unconditionally as much as this guy
